In today’s paper I learned that soaring oil prices will leave the Iraqi government with a cumulative budget surplus of as much as $79 billion by years end, according to a U.S. federal oversight agency.
But Iraq has spent only a tiny fraction of that on reconstruction costs that are now largely borne by the United States.
In my opinion I think that the U.S. is vey smart but why go to war if still want and need oil and has to get it from a country that really doesn’t like us
Title: Man is Chased,Shot in Mouth in Casa De Oro Area....
Story:The article I read today was about a man in his early 20s was shot in the mouth Tuesday in the Casa de Oro area but his wound was not life-threatening, authorities said. The man was being chased by two men in a red sports utility vehicle and sought help from customers at a taco shop in the 9000 block of Campo Road shortly before 12:30 a.m. Paramedics took the man to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. A witness at the scene said it was a red Chevy Blazer that chased the man at speeds around 40 to 50 mph before he ran into the taco shop. The suspects are two white men last seen wearing black clothing. One also wore a red beanie.
My opinion about this article is I think that this was probably gang related.
I think that people are killing other people because of the heat.
My last opinion is good thing that he went to the taco shop for help or he would have been dead.
One interesting fact is why is he walking at 12:30 a.m. by yourself.
- The San Diego Union Tribune
- S.D. agents help bust massive ID-theft ring
- The article that I I read today was about a major conspiracy. It is one that has greatly affected the CIVIL society. It is about a bust of a massive ID-theft ring. The victims of this ring where the stores BJ’s Wholesale Club, Forever 21, Barnes & Noble, Marshalls, Boston Market, OfficeMax, Dave & Buster’s, Sports Authorities, DSW, T.J. Maxx. This ID-theft ring was around the world, there were arrests in the U.S., in Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, and China. for three years, the San Diego based Secret Service Agents used the Internet to communicate with thieves. The thieves were using the internet to hack into the wireless networks of retailers. Local U.S. Attorney Karen Hewitt yesterday said “the Investigation started here in San Diego,” after a news CONFER. U.S attorneys Are DEBATING that many people don’t even suspect that their identity has been compromised.
- one interesting thing that I learned is that 41 million credit, debit card numbers have been stolen from retailers. I think that this article is pretty interesting. I cant believe it started in San Diego and spread around the world.

But Iraq has spent only a tiny fraction of that on reconstruction costs that are now largely borne by the United States Iraq has only spent one percent on its money on reconstruction.
Congress will debate this issue and confer in a civil way with Iraq. The senators are upset with them.
In my opinion I think that the U.S. is very smart but why go to war if still want and need oil and has to get it from a country that really doesn’t like U.S. and we shouldn’t spent our taxes if Iraq has so much money.
Today I read a article about a man that was convicted of fatally stabbing a man during a fight in mission beach last year was sentenced yesterday to 26 years confer to life in prison. He is being charged guilty of first degree murder. He got in a civil fight with a guy at the beach and he pulled out a knife and stabbed the guy once in the neck and he died like an hour later debate in the hospital.
A group of tourists became astray after they planned a trip to Cannonville , Utah. The group consisted of 10 children and 16 adults coming from Los Angeles. They lost track of the way as they tried to plot a backcountry excursion. They planned out the trip using a GPS device which failed to tell them how rough the roads were and that led them to make wrong turn after wrong turn. The group was stranded for at least a day and had to spend a night out in their cars. Most of the roads that the GPS indicated to take, led to very dangerous cliffs and roads that were really inaccessible. According to the sheriff, who was able to locate them with a team of deputies after various back and forth cell phone calls, many other tourists have gotten lost the same way. The thing is that if people see that the road is leading nowhere then turn back and stay on the main road.
TODAY IN DA UNION TRIBUNE THE WRITER CONFERED ABOUT 3 CIVIL MEN WHO HAVE GOTTEN ARRESTED FOR NOT SELLING THE DRUGS WITHIN THE LIMITS OF STATE PROPOSITION 215A 1996 INITATIVELEGALIZING THE SALE OF MARIJUANA BY PRESCRIPTION TO SERIOUSLY ILL PATIENTSTHEY ALSO SEZIED POT-LACED BROWNIES, ICECREAM,CHOCLATE AND FRUIT BARS WERE SEIZED AT THE BUISNESS , ALONG WITH A LOADED HANDGUN AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS MEANWHILE THE COUNTYBOARD OF SUPERVISORS ARE DEBATING AND CONTINUING THE COURT BATTLE AGAINST THE STATE’S MARIJUANA LAWS.
In the Union-Tribune today, I read about a five year old girl died after falling 15 feet at a condo complex. An apparent accidental fall at a condominium complex yesterday. Cheyenne Kouba of Las Vegas fell from a second-floor walk-way at a complex on South Pacific Street. Police officers were called after the lady found out that her daughter was missing. I think parents should pay more attention to their children. Accidents like that can’t be occurring like that one.
Today in the union tribune, I read that Herb Geving unleashes a broad smile in his 11,000-square-foot mansion. The former cattleman, farmer and owner of a North Dakota garbage business is now retired, able to count the dollar signs brought in by three oil wells. The 74-year-old grandfather receives whopping checks at the end of every month for the oil. He'll never forget the time the first check came in January. "Oil," he says, "it's amazing. You don't have to work at all. You just walk to the mailbox and there it is." Thousands, I guess you'd call it," he says. "You can keep going up and up and up," he says from his home, decked out with a massive fire pit in the living room, semi-circular leather couch and bright orange shag carpet. He had worked on the home for more than 40 years. Now, he's expanding it -- just because he can.
