Problems threaten hospital’s funding
Scripps Mercy Hospital could lose all government payment after a federal investigation into the death of one patient. Facilities failed because of three “immediate jeopardy” situations those in which policies or practice caused or were likely to cause death or serious harm. It was identified by Chula Vista facility, after the hospital reported to health regulators the feb. 29 death of a critically ill women who never received a saline solution ordered more than four hours earlier.
in today’s news paper I learned that any one can mess up like Scripps Hospital they need to do some serious investigations on that problem because it is really serious and can happen again.
Michael Phelps has tied Mark Spitz's 36 year old record of seven gold medals in a single Olympics. The swimming machine won the 100-meter butterfly final in Beijing in the closest finish imaginable one hundredth of a second. In his final individual race, on the final stroke, Phelps beat Milord Cavic of Serbia to the wall. It was the first race of these games in which Phelps didn't set a world record. He set an Olympic record 50.58 seconds. The Serbian team filed a protest, which was quickly denied.
Today I read about two sailors who were arrested in a fatal shooting this weekend. The two sailors were Harvey Heart Jordan and Cloris Jerome cannon. The two sailors were arrested early yesterday at the San Diego navy base at 32nd street. Dennis Trollinger 31 was killed and Aaron Wilkerson was injured when the two sailors shot at them.
The shooting occurred on Saturday on Cypress street.
My Opinion- I think that that was wrong to kill that person just because they got into a argument. I think he should do some time for what he did.
today I read a article about two sailors that were arrested early yesterday at the San Diego Naval Base at 32nd street in hypothesis with a shooting in Lincoln acres over the weekend that killed one man and injured another. The two men were emerged on a suspicion of murder and assault. The shooting was reported shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday on cypress street just near 32nd street. The four men had been implicating moments before the shooting and may had come from a local sports lounge just before the argument.
Wednesday Morning Blog
Today I read about how most beaches are being overrun by schools for surfing. There have been cities receiving a lot of complaints for this reason. So they have to take peoples complaints and actually do something about it. They said that they will probably just have a certain beach which will be open for this exactly. By doing this the regular beaches will be only for local or public surfers. The city of San Diego said that they will have to have a hearing for the vote of this situation. There were also complaints saying that lots of parking spaces are being taken by these schools. Action will be taken soon about this so people can have their beaches back.
My opinion about this is that the city is doing a good job on taking care of this situation. Also I don’t really like surfers because while at the beach you can get hurt by their boards. So to me I’m kind of glad people started taking action towards this.
The article I read this morning was about a woman who lost $4,500 in scheme. Linda Smith is the woman who was going to rent a house of 1,900 square feet. The house has 4 bedrooms and a two car garage. There was a fence in the backyard good enough for like a dog or something. She thought that after all these years of living in apartments it was finally the right place she should move into and live there for the remaining of her life. The woman was going to move in that house with her boyfriend and her teenage son. It turned out that the two men that were leasing the house to Ms. Smith didn’t even own the house. The house had just gotten bought out on an auction.
I think that what these men did is really wrong. They deserve to get charged with something that has to do with illegal stuff. As for Ms. Smith and her family, I hope they soon will find a home that they can finally feel happy in.
An interesting fact that I read in this article was that the two men face up to 6 years and eight months in prison if convicted.
