Tittle: Man Assaulted With Baseball Bat in Gang Attack...
STORY: The article I read today was about a 32-year-old man was hospitalized Wednesday for head injuries he suffered when he was hit with a baseball bat in an apparent gang-related attack in Egger Highlands. The man was walking in the area of Elm and Thermal avenues around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday when a man confronted him with a gang challenge. The victim was struck in the head several times, causing serious but not life-threatening injuries. The DIMENSION of the suspect is white, around 6 feet 2 and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and blue pants. San Diego police gang detectives were handling the investigation.
My opinion of this article is DESPITE the fact he was hit he made a full recovery.
I think that if they find this person they will get charged with DOMESTIC fighting.
My last opinion is I think that this person shouldn’t be by himself anymore.
One interesting fact is carry something in your pocket all times you never know what's going to happen.
Today in the union tribune, I read that A New York man who pleaded guilty to murder in Oregon in exchange for buckets of fried chicken will get calzones and pizza to go with his life sentence. Tremayne Durham, 33, of New York City, admitted last month that he fatally shot Adam Calbreath, 39, of Gresham, in June 2006. Durham wanted to sell ice cream and ordered an $18,000 truck from an Oregon company. He later changed his mind, but the company wouldn't provide a refund. The would-be ice cream man came to Oregon and killed Calbreath, a former employee of the company, while looking for its owner, authorities said. Durham agreed to plead guilty to murder but only if he could get a break from jail food. The judge agreed and granted Durham a feast of KFC chicken, Popeye's chicken, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, carrot cake and ice cream. After Wednesday's sentencing, Durham was to get the rest of the deal -- calzones, lasagna, pizza and ice cream, his defense attorney confirmed. They will pay the tab. Durham also got married Wednesday in a civil ceremony at the Portland courthouse. The DOMESTIC wedding to Vanessa Davis, 48, also of New York City, was not part of the plea deal that will give Durham a chance for parole after 30 years.
I think if every one got this deal no one would take it as a hassle to go to prison. People would probably want to go to prison just for this or the ones ready to go to prison are probably happy if they get the same deal DESPITE what they did was wrong.

The verdict, reached after about eight hours of deliberations over three days, only intensified the debate over whether Salim Ahmed Hamdan's conviction was preordained in an unfair system – or whether military trials are appropriate for people accused of committing heinous acts against the United States. The administration seized on the acquittal to defend its military justice system against accusations that it was politicized and drawn up to ensure convictions. Pentagon and White House officials said they are satisfied with the result. “We're pleased that Salim Hamdan received a fair trial,” White House spokesman Tony Fratto said. “The military commission system is a fair and appropriate legal process for prosecuting detainees.” Despite the partial acquittal, Hamdan still faces up to life in prison. Jurors will reconvene today to determine his sentence. With the conclusion of the trial – the first by a military commission since the end of World War II – U.S. prosecutors can move ahead with military trials for up to 80 Guantanamo Bay detainees, including those accused of planning the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. One reason Hamdan, who even the military judge labeled “a small player,” was tried first is so the system could be tested on him.

- The article that I read today was about the San Diego Zoo. It looks like there was a really big celebration yesterday. The celebration gave a new DIMENSION to the Zoo. The birthdays were for Zhen Zhen who turned 1yesterday and Su Lin turned 3 on Saturday. DESPITE the nearly identical birthdays, the two sisters didn’t have to share their cakes. The cakes that they were given were tiered, honey-dripped ice cakes for their birthdays. Pandas are very DOMESTIC animals and are endangered. There are only 1600 pandas in the wild and just 12 at zoos in the United States, one third of those in San Diego.
- One interesting thing that I learned about this article is that there are only 1600 pandas in the wild and 12 in zoos. It’s a good thing that the zoo is trying to help this species. I would have liked to gone see the pandas eat their cakes.

Today I read about two bullets who hit a man in his leg outside an apartment. A 50 year old man was shot twice in the leg early Saturday as he stood in the parking lot of an apartment complex. This happened on Solola Avenue near 48th street in Lincoln park neighborhood. Two men who were 18-22 years old approached the man and shot him police said.
Interesting facts- The victim and witness did not give the police anymore details about what happened.
My Opinion- I think that if he doesn’t want to talk about what happened then he does not want help In finding who shot him.
Mexican soldiers enter Arizona, hold agent briefly
Four mexican military personel entered into united states in their vehicle after not knowing were they were because the arizona mexico border are very wide range of open desert. the mexican army then bump with the federal border patrol agent with they held at gunpoint until they could assure themselves that the agent was indeed who he claimed who was he and were the mexican army was at. they returned back to maxico without any one getting hurt.

THEY EACH HAD THEIR OWN CAKE. A GOOD THING SINCE A PANDA IS BIRTHDAY IS RARE INDEED. THERE AREE ONLY 1,600 PANDAS IN THE WILD AND JUST 12 PANDAS AT ZOOS IN THE UNITED STATES-ONE THIRD OF THOSE IN SAN DIEGO,THAT VMEANT ALOT OF EXCITMENT CAN ACCOPPANY THE YOUNGSTERS' BIRTHDAYS,WHICH THE ZOO CELEBRATES EVERY YEAR.

Today I read a article about a guy who despite and rammed his truck into a patrol station in china’s restive central Asian border just for fun. He was also throwing grenades like crazy and he killed 16 dimension officers and wounded others. Besides the 16 dead, another 16 armed policemen were wounded fatally. People say that the attacker drove the truck to domestic the paramilitary police.
