Today in the union tribune, I read that A man was being held in Florida on Thursday on charges he told classmates at a training seminar that he would kill Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama if he is elected, according to a law enforcement official and court documents. The threats came just days before Obama was scheduled to visit Florida and were made by a person discovered to have ammunition, a handgun and other weapons. An affidavit filed by a Secret Service agent in U.S. District Court claims that Raymond Hunter Geisel, of Marathon, Florida, threatened to kill, kidnap and cause bodily harm upon a major candidate for president of the United States. A search of Geisel's vehicle and a hotel room in Miami, where Geisel was attending a bail bondsman training class, found a 9-mm handgun, ammunition that included armor-piercing and rifle bullets, police-style emergency lights, body armor, a machete and two canisters of tear gas, among other military-style items, according to the document. Agents say that classmates of Geisel reported that, between July 25-28, Geisel used a racial slur toward Obama and said if he gets elected, I'll assassinate him myself.
Today I read about this years summer Olympics will start Today. They will be held in china’s city of Beijing. The article focused on the pollution of China and what the Chinese will do to better the conditions. Beijing’s smog czar stated that they can guarantee good air quality during the games during a confer with international journalists. To help better the conditions they ordered half of the civil societies' 3.3 million cars off the road. The officials from Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau are stressed because many people are debating that it is not safe for the athletes to compete in those conditions. - One interesting fact that I learned is that despite China’s efforts, mother nature has kept Beijing ‘s skies thick with smog. I think that it is pretty unsafe to compete in these conditions. I say this because just by looking at pictures you can tell that it is very polluted.
The article I read today was about two teen-aged boys were in custody Thursday on suspicion of stabbing each other with knives in Cherokee Point. The teens got into a knife fight in the 3500 block of University Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. One teen was stabbed in the chest and the other, in the back, but neither suffered life-threatening injuries. San Diego police gang detectives were handling the investigation.
My opinion about this article is I think that it was gang related and they’ll probably get a new dimension.
Despite the fact that they stabbed each other when they see each other in the streets it’s going to be worse for one of them.
My last opinion what kind of stupid's would just stab each other either one is or they do not know how to fight.
One interesting fact is carry something bigger.
Hitmen kill six, including kids, in western Mexico
Gunmen shot dead six people, including children, in western Mexico in an execution-style massacre of the kind often carried out by drug gangs, Mexico media said Thursday.
All the victims, apparently from the same family, were shot in the back of the head and found shrouded in blankets in a house near the town of Zapotlan el Grande, online newspapers said.
Two girls aged 7 and 8, and a 15-year-old boy were among the dead.
The state of Jalisco attorney general's office declined comment on the killings, which were similar to executions carried out by warring drug gangs.
Some 1,700 people have died in drug feuds in Mexico this year. Until recently, the traffickers rarely killed children but minors have increasingly become victims in recent months.
Today I read about a toy gun that leads to a lockdown on campus and at a boys and girls club. Two boys playing with a toy rifle touched off lockdowns yesterday at an elementary school and at a boys and girls club. The scare began at 12:37 pm when police received a call that two kids were shooting from the elementary school. San Diego police sheriffs deputies and highway patrol swarmed the boys and to find out that the gun was an air soft gun the boys were later released.
Interesting Facts- The lockdowns ended at about 1:30 pm.
My Opinion- I think that they did a good job responding to the call.
In the Union-Tribune today I read about how toy guns lead to lockdown of campus, youth club. Two boys playing with a toy rifle touched off lockdowns yesterday at Stone Ranch Elementary School and the 4s Ranch Boys and Girls Club. The scare began at 12:37 p.m. when police received a call that two juveniles were shooting from the elementary. When authorities determined that the gun was an Airsoft rifle used in a combat-simulation game, they let the boys go. I was in a similar situation like that , but the police almost shot me.
- The San Diego Union Tribune
- External container gas sales restricted
- The article that I read today was about Tijuana. It talked about the gas and certain restrictions that were established. This restriction gave a new DIMENSION to this oil problem that is going on. Gas station owners in Tijuana and Rosarito have agreed to restrict gasoline sales for external containers. This is mainly to hinder Americans looking to take lower costs. DESPITE the fact that they profit I guess they just don’t want Americans to do that anymore. The only way to fill an external tank is to get a permit from the Civil Protection. This is mainly due to when in June and July Baja California experienced a severe crisis due to a fuel shortage after the Pemex terminal in Rosarito ran out of fuel.
- One interesting that I learned is that after the recent spike in fuel prices in California the demand for fuel in Baja California climbed 38 percent. I think that this is an interesting article. For a while I thought that they weren't going to sell to American cars. There was nothing DOMESTIC about this article.
today I read a article about a man suspected of a despite killing three teenagers at a Wisconsin river hatched the ambush because he feared dimension being charged with sexual assault and had nothing to lose. He is now being charged with first degree intentional homicide in the July 31 slaying. But now he is going go to domestic court and there's a big chance that he is going to face life in prison without no parole.
TODAY IN THE UNION TRIBUNE I READ ABOUT THIS PROGRAM THA RECYCLES PLASTIC BAGS. HOPING TO DO MORE TO KEEP PLASTIC BAGS OUT OF LANDFILLS AND THE OCEAN, SOLANA BEACH FOUND A PRIVATE COMPANY TO RECYCLE THEM IN A PARTNERSHIP THAT MIGHT BE UNIQUE IN CALIFORNIA. SOLANA BEACH'S PROGRAM CUTS OUT THE MIDDLEMAN-GENERALLY A WASTE HAULER- AND CONTRACTS DIRECTLY WITH TREX CO.INC., AMANUFACTURER OF RECYCLED GOODS. THE VIRGINIA-BASED MANUFACTURER WILL USE THE BAGS IN DECK BOARDS AND FENCING MADE FROM WOOD AND PLASTIC FIBERS.
