Today in the union tribune, I read that the dark knight continues to ADEQUATE box office records, crossing the $300 million mark in just 10 days. The epic batman saga ATTRIBUTED $75.6 million its second weekend in theaters, pushing its domestic total to $314.2 million. That surpasses the record set in 2006 by pirates of the Caribbean dead mans chest which took 16 days to gross $300 million. The latest batman installment already had broken records for best opening weekend at $158.4 million and best single day with $66.4 million. It’s also busted records in it’s showings on IMAX screens, making $16.3 million in it’s first 10 days. The dark knight could reach up to $400 million in about 18 days, which would beat the record of shrek 2 set in 2004 when it made that much money in 43 days. The dark knight could pass Titanic as the highest grossing film in U.S. history. James Cameron’s 1997 extravaganza made $600.8 million domestically, a record no movie has ever come close to touching.
I think that’s crazy that just a movie could make so much money. I had no idea that Titanic was the highest grossing film in US history especially that much money. Imagine if it was a career, I wonder how much that movie would make ANNUALY.

The batman saga grossed $75.6 million in its second weekend in theaters making a domestic total of $314.2 million. That surpasses the record set in 2006 by “ Pirates of the Caribbean”. Fellman expects that “Dark Night” could reach $400 million in about 18 days which would beat the record “Shrek 2” set in 2004 when it made that much money in 43 days. In the Union-Tribune today, I read about one of my favorite players in the football league. Devin Hester’s first practice at the Chicago Bears training camp he caught a 40-yard pass from Rex Grossman. Hester contract for the Bears have a 4 year extension worth up to $40 million. Hester stated, “ I think the Bears have a lot of faith in me, and they feel that I do a lot of things on the offensive side of the ball, so they rewarded me.” In two seasons he is two touchdown returns short of Brian Mitchell’s record of 13 kick or punt returns touchdowns- a mark that took 14 years to set. Hester is a great football player and I noticed that from the first time I seen him play. He is lightning fast and have the talent to take over a game and motivated his team players to play hard. I look up to Hester as a positive role model, because one day I would like to do the things he have done.

Today I read a article about a 60 year old man by the name of Greg McKendry who shot at a church youth performance. He killed a attribute man and a woman and there were adequate of other people that got badly injured. But now he is in jail facing life with charges of first degree murder. Another thing that is weird is that he was a annual at that church.

“D.A. charges officer in shooting”
►What I read today on the newspaper was that In a rare decision, the District Attorney's Office charged a San Diego police officer yesterday with a felony for shooting a mother and her son during a confrontation in an Oceanside parking lot when he was off duty. It marks the first time in 13 years in the county that a law enforcement officer, either on or off duty, has been charged with a crime for shooting someone while acting under the color of authority. The officer, Frank White, fired five rounds into a car driven by Rachel Silva in the parking lot of a Lowe's store March 15, culminating what Oceanside police have described as a road-rage incident. Silva, 28, who authorities say was intoxicated and driving on a suspended license for a previous DUI conviction, was hit twice in the right arm, and her 8-year-old son was struck once in his left leg. At his arraignment yesterday, White pleaded not guilty to one felony count of grossly negligent discharge of a firearm and one misdemeanor count of exhibiting a firearm. The first charge carries two enhancements for causing great bodily injury to Silva and her son. He faces up to nine years in prison if convicted. White, 28, appeared in Vista Superior Court with his wife, Jacquellyn, a police dispatcher for the city of Carlsbad.
►I don’t agree because not even an officer is ADEQUATED to be shooting random.
►I don’t agree because the officer been working ANNUALLY and he could know better.
►I also don’t agree because this is not an ATTRIBUTE.
►I think most interesting fact is that they actually cut this officer.
