Today in the union tribune, I read that a SUFFICIENT teenager is suspected of delivering baskets of drug-laced treats to about a dozen police departments in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, according to police who charged him Tuesday with LSD possession. At least three officers have gotten sick. Christian Phillips PROFICIENTLY denied trying to contaminate the goodies or harm anyone. The 18-year-old man was arrested after taking cookies to the Lake Worth police station. Officers there had been tipped off that someone was falsely claiming to deliver treats on behalf of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Christian Phillips was taken into custody and later charged with possession of the powerful hallucinogen, although the charge may be changed. The suspect denied trying to contaminate the goodies or harm anyone and said one of his friends might have been smoking pot while Phillips was baking. The suspect is not TECHANCALLY affiliated with MADD. Phillips remained jailed in Lake Worth, Texas, pending an arraignment Wednesday. Bail had not been set, and he did not have an attorney yet.
Title: North Park Cracks Down on Graffiti.
Story: The article I read was about a local community is waging war on graffiti. Community groups in North Park have come together to form a new graffiti abatement team. They will place stickers in the windows of local businesses offering a reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a tagger. One North Park business owner says he has documented a hundred cases of graffiti inside the bar he owns, since October. "We didn't think it was going to be as big of an issue as it's turned out to be," says Dang Nguyen, owner of Bar Pink Elephant, "not just inside the bar, but outside on the sidewalks, an at the neighboring businesses it’s proficient." Graffiti vandals could face six months in a correctional facility, and fined up to a thousand dollars.
My opinion about this article is i think six months is a lot for just writing on a wall, and if people have pictures of their work I think they should through it away because it is sufficient.
I think writers should go were no one can see them.
Graffiti is a way of expressing your self, and people like that because it is technical.
One interesting fact is I don’t think they should give that much time for writing on a wall.
Today on the CNN website I read an article about two young girls found their parents, Richard Warren Harper and Demetria Harper, shot in the head after a masked men forced their way inside the family's Second Avenue home this week. The Harpers' bodies were discovered in the basement of their home at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police suspect the two 32 year olds were killed sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning. WTAE Channel 4's Shannon Perrine reported the couple's 8-year-old and 10-year-old daughters led a relative to the victims after the relative stopped at the house for a visit.
Unstopable death-spree in Mexico.
In the moment Tijuana is held in an unhonarable third place of highest deaths by far of the year with 290 deaths, arate of 11 deaths per week. That number already surpased the deaths of last years of only 255.
But the deaths have been with small weapons with a calibur of .9 or .38, other are thru stranglument and wrap-ups.
The people that have been killed have had a criminal backround usually people with tattos and worn out clothing. each of the bodies have been found in remote areas of Tijuana, Tecate, and Rosarito.
Furthermore Tijuana isnt the only city in the list in second place, Cuidad Juarez, Chihuahua fall under number 2 with an impressive 324 deaths since Jan. 1, 2008 thru Jun. 18,2008. Most of the deaths have been caused with fire weapons.
And with a astonishing 370 deaths by far of the year is Culiacan, Sinaloa.
So Mexico last year reported 940 deaths or executions compared to 1,378 as far this year with a increase of 47%
Mexico's President Felipe Calderon stated that the government is winning the war against orginaized crime. But so far in the term of of Calderons presidency there has been 4,152 executions in an estimae that 450 are cops, military personel, or government workers. Sio people say that looking at the numbers orginaized crime is winning the fight.
A detective and prosecutors did not commit crimes when they put together a murder case against a man whose conviction was later overturned on DNA evidence, a special prosecutor said Tuesday. Tim Masters' murder conviction was overturned after DNA evidence cleared him. Although he found no criminal conduct, Weld County, Colorado, District Attorney Ken Buck said he did find disturbing flaws in the investigation and prosecution of Tim Masters. Buck was appointed special prosecutor to investigate the case in neighboring Larimer County. Masters' defense attorneys said lead detective Jim Broderick may have perjured himself and illegally eavesdropped on Masters. The defense also said overzealous prosecutors ignored evidence that could have cleared Masters of the 1987 slaying of Peggy Ettrick. Masters was freed from prison in January after 9-1/2 years." Weld County gave Jim Broderick the presumption of innocence Larimer County didn't give me.
I think that the DNA founded by the investigator was good enough to get any criminal that has committed a felony.
!!MAN GETS 35-YEARS FOR STINKY FEET SLAYING!!
Today in CNN news today i read, that a man stabbed his roommate over stinky feet and not only once but several time. They also said the man was drunk and him and the roommate got into an argument and the drunki said he didn't kill him on purpose it was self defense. The man was sentenced to 35 years in prison for stabbing his roommate to death after an argument in their Houston apartment about stinky feet.
The Harris County District Attorney's Office says 23-year-old William Antonio Serrano was sentenced Tuesday to 35 years in prison. He pleaded no contest to murder.
Authorities say 21-year-old Noel Quintanilla-Vaquero complained last October that Serrano's feet had a foul odor. They say Serrano responded to the insult by grabbing a knife and stabbing Quintanilla-Vaquero several times.
The men allegedly had been drinking.
Court documents indicate Serrano initially claimed self-defense.
Reflection:Well i think what happened with the roommates was uncalled for.i mean now the man has to go to prison for 35years i know he is real mad.he was also drunk to i think he started it on purpose because u don't know what your doing or saying when your drunk. But hey he deserves it because he killed the man for no reason he could of handle it in a different way like getting a new roommate, moving out ect. so now he dose have a new roommate in jail all bad.
