Today in the union tribune, I read that a registered sex offender convicted of molesting two 15 year old boys inside his city heights apartment was sentenced to 35 years to life in prison yesterday, said assistant district attorney Brian Erickson. James Edward Green, 50, pleaded guilty on June 17 to two counts of molestation, one for each minor. He was arrested October 18th as he was driving on 30th street near redwood street and north park. In the first case, Green CONFERRED he offered a job to a 15 year old for work on October 1st at a home depot on imperial avenue. Green took the boy to his apartment and sexually assaulted him, held him until the next day and drove him back to the store and released him. In the second case, Green said he approached another 15 year old boy as he walked to school on university avenue near Marlborough avenue on October 5th. The boy, who was Latino was CIVIL until Green told him he was an immigration officer and held the boy for two days before he was released. Green pleaded guilty without DEBATE in 1984 to molesting a minor and spent time in prison for the conviction.
“Budget mess leaves rural hospitals dry”
►What I read today on the newspaper was that a Small rural hospitals are scrambling to get unprecedented emergency loans as California's monthlong budget crisis deepens. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to lay off up to 22,000 temporary and part-time workers today and trigger a legal clash with state Controller John Chiang by trying to slash the pay of 200,000 state workers. Legislative deadlocks that leave the state without a budget after the new fiscal year begins July 1 are routine – it has happened 17 times in the past 21 years. The record was set six years ago when a budget was signed Sept. 5. But as legislators struggle to close a $15.2 billion gap in a general fund of more than $100 billion, the impasse is beginning to have an unusually severe impact. Small rural hospitals dependent on Medi-Cal, the state-federal program for the needy, are among the hardest hit by the lack of a budget and additional cuts and delays in Medi-Cal payments.

My opinion about this article is I think these kids are really dumb getting in the car with someone they don’t even know.
My other opinion is was the boy really dumb to think this guy was an Immigration officer. My last opinion is this guy was really sick.
One interesting fact is don’t ever get in the car with people you do not know.
Today in the Union-Tribune I read about the Chargers Training camp. It was mainly about their defensive back Eric Weddle. He is the Great White Irony of the Chargers secondary, not all what he appears. They stated that Weddle is about as cut as the Pillsbury Doughboy. Antonio Cromartie said, “ He doesn’t look like a football player. But there is a contradiction with Weddle who will take over for the departed Marlon McCree at free safety. I feel its gone be necessary for the Raiders to be CIVIL during that game. I had to CONFER with my friend that the Raiders is gone beat the chargers this football season. I had to DEBATE with my dad about who was gone win the game. I am a die hard Raider fan and think with the key drafts they made during the off season, was what we needed to become a successful team.
During current events I learned that San Diego county has lost its latest court fight against a state law requiring counties to issue government identification to qualify for med marijuana patients.
San Diego and San Bernardino had argued that issuing identification to medical marijuana patients would violate federal drug laws that categorize marijuana as one of the most dangerous known drugs.
People agree to the new government identification saying that it will help police and patients ”(such cards) let the police know they shouldn’t waste there time harassing or otherwise investigating patients who are legal under California law.
In my opinion I think it would be better to approve the id , because it will help police know if it is legal for the person using it or not that way they wont just be harassing just anyone and taking what is legal from them but the police wont know because there will be no prove and with the id there will be.
