Today in the union tribune, I read that a class on human physiology at grossmont high doesn’t end without a discussion of energy drinks. Nor does the semester go by without teacher Judd Hulbert, former head football coach for the foothillers, giving student’s his take. I always advise them against them because of what they contain, he said. But it is hard to monitor what kids put in their mouths all the time. While the carbonated soda industry has seen a decline in sales in the past three years, the purchase of energy drinks continue to climb. Beverage companies reported about $3 billion in energy drink sales in 2007, up from about $2.5 billion in 2006, according to one industry publication. Most- from the best-known Red Bull to the more obscure spike, wired, freek and buzzed- target young adults as their demographic choice. Since Red Bull’s 1997 debut, hundreds have flooded the market, filling shelves in grocery and convenience stores with high price brightly colored cans decorated with rocker names, marketed with edgy slogans and packed with a serious punch of caffeine and sugar. All of which are catching the eyes of teenage consumers in growing numbers. A state bill prohibits energy drinks from being sold in high school cafeterias and vending machines, but it’s still ok to consume the drinks on most campuses. Thirty-one percent of high school uses energy drinks, according to a study published by the American college of sports medicine last year. They found that the consumption increased age, and boys were more likely than girls to gravitate to the drinks.

Today I read in the business section of the newspaper about a New York city man issuing Jetblue Airways for more than 2 million because he says the pilot made him give up his seat to a flight attendant and sit on the toilet for more than three hours a on a flight from San Diego. The passenger said that they made him sit in the toilet because the flight attendant said that her assign seat was uncomfortable. They also told him that he should seat in the employee seat because the flight attendant had taken his seat. Think that what they did to him was unprofessional because he paid for his seat and it got token away from him because of the flight attendant said that her seat was uncomfortable.
The passenger is suing the company of Jetblue Airways for more than 2 million dollars.

Today in the union tribune I read an article about an earthquake that hit china on Monday. The earthquake killed about 10,000 people and trapping untold members in mounds of concrete this was there worst earthquake in three decades. The 7.9 magnitude quake devastated a region of small cities and towns set amid step hills. The earthquake struck around mid-afternoon it emptied office buildings across the country and could be felt as far away as Vietnam. In the town of juyuan, south of the epicenter, a three story high school collapsed, burying as many as 900 students and killing at least 50. The news agency reported today that an additional 1,000 students and teachers were buried. The building was reduced to rubble two yards high.

Title: Neighbor reportedly stabs man asleep in bed

Story:
In San Diego a man was stabbed 13 times in the morning after his room mate let a neighbor in to use the bathroom, the 48-year-old victim was asleep in his bed at his home on Quillan street in Linda Vista just before 3 a.m. when he was attacked. The neighbor is suspected of stabbing him six times in the chest and seven times in the back. The victim told officers he had no idea why he was attacked.
My opinion about this story is why would you let in a neighbor you never know what's going to happen but the guy had probably done something to the other guy and he just didn’t like him or something.
One interesting fact was you shouldn’t let anybody in your house to use the bathroom even if it’s 3 a.m. in the morning not your neighbor.

When it comes to stylish swimwear, this pink string bikini was hot literally. But it’s doubtful the recovered resort wear will be resold, after it was removed from the bikini bandit who was wearing it underneath his street clothes. RCMP in the Okanagan city of Kelowna, B.C., tracked down the swimsuit swiper after getting a tip from the owner of a local tanning salon. Security video showed the man grabbing sunglasses and bathing suits from the shop. It also gave the owner a pretty good look at the suspect’s license plate, which is what helped officers make the arrest. No word on why the man was wearing the string-style suit when he was picked up, since swimming season is still a month or so away.

I think that this is a weird that a man is stealing swimsuit. If he really wanted to come out of the closet he could have admitted that he likes to wear female clothes instead some people have to read about one of there friends stealing a swimsuit and wearing it out of the store. He tried to persuade the cops to let him go. After that he even tried to critique some of the female officers on there outfits. One of the cops stated the contrast of colors made him look like a pink bunny.

The article I read today is about a San Diego man was stabbed 13 times yesterday morning after his roommate let a neighbor use the bathroom. The 48 year-old victim was asleep when the attack took place the neighbor is suspected of PERSUADING in the house. The victim was stabbed six times in the chest and seven times in the back the officers don’t know why this accident happened police the victim is in CRITIQUE condition but is expected to make it. Police are looking for a man identified as Chad long.
I think his roommate should have not let no one in at 3 in the morning to use the restroom.
They should of CONTACT for help.
