“Border Operation Ending for Guard”
►Today I read on the newspaper that One windy afternoon last week at the border fence, a construction platform carrying a crew of National Guard personnel moved slowly along the barrier, sparks flying from blowtorches as the guardsmen straightened and retrofitted the steel posts. For most of them, it would be their last task on the border. And After two years spent supporting the Border Patrol, performing SIMILAR jobs that have included surveillance, air transportation, building and fixing border fence and repairing roads, the SECTION National Guard begins pulling out Sunday, with the last of the personnel leaving in July. Their THEORY of work was part of a Bush administration project dubbed Operation Jump Start, begun with the idea that the National Guard's assistance with non-enforcement jobs would allow the Border Patrol to use more of its agents for patrol while it went about boosting its staff to 18,000.
►I don’t agree because they are treating those people like dogs.
►I also don’t agree because they may kill people.
►In the other hand we have to protect our country, but I still not agree on the plan they are doing.
►I think the most interesting fact is that they are doing all this stuff and no body complains.
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the San Antonio Spurs last night in game 5 of the series. Kobe Bryant performed great scoring 39 points. First they was losing by 17 and Kobe started to make plays. Now The Lakers lead the series 4-1 and I think they gone proceed to play the Boston Celtics. The Lakers haven’t been to the championship since 2004 when Shaq was still on the team. Kobe Bryant is the leagues MVP and he plays with intensity and determination. The finals will begin next Thursday in the home of the East Conference champion, either Boston or Detroit. Boston leading the series 3-2 with game 6 tonight. Last night the Lakers fans chanted,” We want Boston.” I can’t wait until the final and hope it be the Lakers and Celtics for an exciting game.
Today in the San Diego Union Tribune I read about how there is only one river left to slake the thirst of California, as the nation’s most populous states others rivers tapped out. We need this last great river more than ever as global warming threatens to make longer, drier droughts the norm throughout the west. I also read that California’s future depends on another feat no less astounding than the dam-building projects of yore. Making most of the virtual river will require recognition that every water drop saved. This is SIMILAR to a story I read. One interesting fact that I learned is that this river is larger than the American, the Merced and the San Joaquin rivers combined Environmentalists and urban water agencies agree that no other future source comes close to the virtual river. I wonder if this is all just a THEORY. I also think that the U.S. is going to wind up wasting a grip of water like it does today. This wouldn’t be a problem if we were more civilized and never worried about money or technology and our only worry was to survive, like bushmen, indians.
Today in the union tribune, I read that the father of the 14 year old Scripps Ranch girl accused of killing her mother with a hammer said yesterday that his daughter suffers from a mental illness and needs help. After a brief hearing in san Diego superior court, James D’Aoust told reporters that close friends were helping the family deal with the death of Rebecca D’Aoust, 56, and the arrest of their daughter Heather. D’Aoust said the best thing for him to do right now is to try to help his daughter. She’s not evil, he said. Heather Marie D’Aoust is being charged with as an adult in the slaying. She pleaded not guilty yesterday to charges of murder an assault.
I think that she should be charged with murder and should never see the light of day for as long as she lived. And her father is even stupider than she is trying to get her off the hook and try to play it like she has problems and is mentally insane. I think its because she is white because if a black or mexican kid killed their mom they would went to court and tried them as an adult without hesitating and gave them life in prison like they do all minorities.
The supreme court upheld Kentucky's method of execution by lethal injection. High court ok’s lethal injection they also say that its common sequence of three drugs in a manner that posed an unconstitutional risk that a condemned inmate would suffer a lot of pain or little. In my opinion I think that lethal injections are a good idea because then the inmates wont suffer pain and would die easily. I think that its right that they a prove it because like they caused pain to others pain comes back. I think that people should keep a proving this law because it’s a good law because it takes a way pain for the inmates. 7-2 ruling are still thinking about it but the doors haven't closed on the topic of lethal injections.

Today I read about who was trapped under a car and was trying to find a way to free himself and his little sister he couldnt so he deciide to free his sister and have his sister find someone and come back to get help. This boy from Virgina was 17 and taking his sister to school and another struck his car in the process. The SECTION that got stuck on his car was the driver seat and the lower half. His THEORY was if he could free himelf then he could get away and walk away free it did not go so well. The person who strucj his car have assumed that he died on immideate contact as the boy is in critical condition in the informey. Both cars were SIMILIAR. The people saw the accident and were stalled by the time the police got there the boy was in critical condition they thought that they might lose him in the proces but they didnt. Even though he is alive he has lost his legs in the process which is unfortunate. The family is suing the virgina police for there response time because the doctors stated they could have saved his legs if they would have gotten there earlier. What makes this story special is the people in it how he saved his sister and sacfrice his self.
I think that the county should be held responsible for the response time of the police. This is a unfortunate accident but im happy that the people survived that need to survive.
