Remember when Crack cocaine

Crack convicts are getting out today on the behalf of judges reducing sentence to about three years. Some people in the AREA that the convicts are getting out does not want them to be reassessed. The Judge INDICATED that the three men were ESTABLISHED and changed men. The three men want to pick there lives up and do something while they still have a chance to do it. This does not JUSTIFY letting them get out early in the next year. I think that the judge should let them finish out there sentence in court. If the men are changed then they should have know problem finishing 5-6 years in prison then 2 years in rehab. The should be understanding that Criminals type of thinking is unacceptable in the way we run are society. I Also felt that if the judges lets them out who knows if the people in the town that this is taking place will accept them coming in knowing that the people are sicking and bad. Some people feel as if the court system is basing it off cocaine powder and crack rocks which should be taken as the same thing.

Customs has been pleased with private prisons that they send their detainees to, but there are concerns about the treatment prisoners receive while being detained. Current scandels have ICE on the edge as rumors spread about prisoner abuse at the private prisons. Private prisons help the government save millions a year because they cost less then it would be if customs sent their detainees to other prisons.
Reflection: I think the private prisons are messing up.
Reflection: Even tho these men are locked up they should still be treated like people.
Reflection: It is good the government saves money, but they must consider the health of the detainees.
My Opinion: In my opinion the government should still send prisoners to private prisons but they should make sure the prisoners will be treated properly.

Title:Teen Scooter Death

Story:Katlyn Walsh and Savannah Steele can't believe what happened to their friend and fellow student at Steele Canyon High School after a powder puff football game Friday night. A fatal accident that robbed a young girl of a promising future. "She was a junior. And she helps me out a lot with like I've ...She's friends with my friends and if I had anything like on my mind I'd always go to her and she always had good advice." "But I'm going to be praying for her and stuff because like that's really tragic. And like I know a lot of people that walk down there and stuff and I just thought it would never happen." A day after the disaster the school sign still advertised a now eery message regarding that powder puff game the victim attended. CHP says the driver of the SUV struck and killed the girl who was moving alongside highway 94 near Steele Canyon road when she failed to see the SUV in time. CHP says the SUV driver was neither speeding nor under the influence of drugs or alcohol. These are tough times for friends, family, and even CHP investigators.  "In all the time that you're a highway patrolman you have to watch out for the kids. You do the best you can. It's just an unfortunate accident." Tragedies like this make everybody think a little harder about safety. Especially on highway 94--a narrow road that winds through mountainous terrain.
My opinion about this article is its bad to just see or hear about a person getting ran over by a car its just something that’s bad, and I just don’t get it why cant people just use street lights, maybe will have less accidents.

The article I read today was about a shooting outside of a grocery store in the Lincoln park neighborhood San Diego police said. Police responded to a call just after 5 p.m. about a shooting at the J & J discount food market on imperial avenue near 50th street. Their OBTAINING names three men walked into the store made a purchase and walked out as they went out the front door a Chrysler 300 went in the parking lot. A man in the front passenger seat started busting rounds and only ACHIEVEING to hit one person. Police think they had a DISTRIBUTE and someone ended up dieing. Paramedics worked on the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:13 p.m.
I think that sucks and no one should die!!
My opinion is stop the violence.
Stop the violence.

today in the union tribune, I read that the results of governors Sarah Palin’s prenatal testing were in, and the doctor’s tone was ominous: you need to come to the office so we can talk about it. Palin, known for a resolve that quickly launched her from her suburban hockey mom to a player on the national political stage, said, no tell me over the phone. The physician replied, down syndrome, stunning the republican governor, who had just completed what many political analysis call startling first year in office.

Proffesional surfer beat to death

Today I read a article that was talking about street gangs. If you ask authorities to name local gang neighborhoods La Jolla wont make the list. Until recently, five men all graduates of La Jolla high school face murder charges in the beating death of Emery Kauanui Jr., age 24 a professional surfer who was attacked outside of his mothers La Jolla home. Key issues in this case include weather the defendants were members of a crew called the bird rock bandits and weather the group qualifies as a gang under state law.
Interesting facts- Gang allegations also called enhancements significantly increase penalties in criminal cases.
My Opinion- I think that was a scandal to beat the guy and kill him especially in front of his moms home.

Today I read in the union tribune that the board members have job security because if re-elected to a fifth four year term on the country’s board of supervisors next month, Dianna Jacob and Pam Slater-price will join an elite club of supervisor to serve two decades. Jacob and Slater-prince, along whit the board of chairman Greg Cox, each face a challenger in June 3 election who is pushing for term limits. I think that its not fear that they have secured jobs when common people don’t people should not allowed the board members to keep on running things. I think that if they do that than they are not going to give other people the chance to do something better that they can.
The election is going to happen in 2009

=In home robbery=
On this mornings news paper I read about a robbery. This robbery happened in San Marcos. Four men had invaded a family home and tied up the family. The victims told the investigators that they tock jewelry. They also left with the families SUV a 2004 Toyota sequoia. The couples 15 year old daughter was able to call the police but the invaders were already gone. After the robbers were gone the husband was able to follow them to for a short time. But he lost them after a while of pursuit. The husband did this after he freed himself and continued to free his family.

=These days people are not even safe in their own home rather than outside.

=The robbers must of known the victims to pull this off or at least planned this hole mess out.

=The daughter did the right thing by calling the police even dough the cops didn’t arrive on time.

=The SUVs license plate was 5GEZ292 the cops will be looking for the vehicle.

Today in the union tribune I read an article about a S.D. mans abduction. Nine years ago a man named Rick Post was kidnapped, tortured and killed in one of the most brutal and bizarre cases on record at the San Diego FBI office. His body was never found and his father Richard, had closely followed every development, but he was dying from cancer. FBI agent Henry Nembach back knew the old man wasn’t in a giving mood, but there was an offer on the table. The last remaining defendant a mexican national told FBI agents he could lead them to the body but for a price. He wanted at least five years knocked off his prison sentence.

Today in the union tribune, I read that from the cockpit, red bull air racer Bonhomme didn’t have time to look at the crowd gathered below him on both sides of san Diego yesterday. According to police estimates and the event’s organizers, between 50,000 and 75,000 spectators viewed the first two days low-level, high- performance air races over san Diego bay between Embarcadero Marina park and Coronado. The official viewing compound at the southern park sold the last of 20,000 tickets just after qualifying runs began at 2 p.m. Saturday. And tickets for Sunday afternoon’s races were already gone. Which doesn’t mean seats aren’t available. Sunday fans lined the san Diego side of the course as far north as the G street mole. Still more viewer’s lined the beachfront along Coronado. From her perch in the no pay zone on a wall adjacent to the steps leading up to the convention center- Tina brown’s favorite part of the red bull air race world series came after the planes flew low through the slalom's course. Most of the pilots, despite warnings from the federal aviation administration, would gain a little altitude and do a roll or two, or three, not to mention the occasional dive, before heading to the staging area at north island naval air station.

This morning in the news paper I was reading about Sunday night fight with De La Hoya and Forbes. They were talking about how Steve was an easy win for Oscar. Oscar is waiting for a rematch with May weather but before he does that critics say he should have one more fight before that happens. Also they say he might retire after he fight May weather.
Refeltion- I think if he fight May weather that is going to be a sold out fight and its going to be a very good one to.
