Today in the union tribune, I read that iron man is an ironclad jumpstart to the summer movie season, a brainy adventure about a snarky, self centered weapons of mass destruction manufacturer who suddenly, thrillingly sees the light. The film makes a political statement much of the action takes place in Afghanistan but does so in the glow in reason and conscience. It may not be vice president dick Cheney favorite movie of the year, but it won’t offend conservatives or liberals. It’s a picture too, that’ll satisfy comic book freaks and super hero fans while at the same time delivering a finely crafted slice of cinema. The story is rife with tasty characters and unique special effects.

ARTICLE: Navy cook accused of murdering toddler step-daughter.
STORY: A 24-year-old navy cook pleads not guilty to MURDERING his 3-year-old stepdaughter.Deputy District Attorney Lindsey Krause outlined the case against 24 year old Christopher Simmons and his ALLEGED assault on Armani Hansberry."Armani's mom heard some THUMPING against the bedroom wall," described Krause."She walked into the bedroom and saw the defendant hitting the 3-year-old in her abdomen quite hard which caused a LACERATED liver and she eventually bled out."About 5 hours after the assault Hansberry was taken to the hospital where she was DECLARED dead.Simmons has no family in San Diego and is from Michigan. He is charged with one count of assault and one count of murder.His bail has been set a $5 million.He will be sentenced to 25 years to life if he is convicted.
My opinion about this article is how can you kill your step-daughter, he should of never put his hands on her, and the mom on the spot should of killed him or something because he took her daughter’s life because she came in the room and she saw what was going on, and why would you leave your daughter in a room with the stepfather, no matter what you should never trust the guy you never know what can happen.
A missing Escondido girl’s location has been discovered. Eleven year old Alani Vera has been missing for nearly one week. Her father came into the news stating he had no idea were she was and that she didn’t answer her phone and that when he checked her text messages he discovered she had been talking with men way older then her. As police conducted their investigation they spoke with the men the 11-year old had been texting the men acknowledged they had spoken to her but stated they did not have any contact with her. The father said that his daughter and her mother had been having serious problems and maybe she ran away from those problems. As the police continued their investigation they discovered that the girl had been staying with relatives of her father. The father had sent her to Mexico to stay with his family in an attempt to keep her away from her mother. He while be charged with child endangerment, felony child concealment, and delaying a police investigation. He has been booked in a Vista Detention Facility.
Reflection: I think its good at least the authorities know were she is at now.
Reflection: That sucks the dad is getting locked up maybe the mom was abusive and that’s why her and her daughter didn’t get along.
Reflection: I don’t think the father should be charged with child endangerment.
My Opinion: In my opinion the police don’t know what happened maybe the father was just trying to protect his daughter. The police should speak with the child and see what the real story is.
