Today in the news paper, I read about rap artist Curtis Jackson “50 Cent.” It was said that Taco Bell challenged the rapper to change his name to 79, 89, or 99 cent. The reason for that is the promotion of their food and advertising. I think 50 Cent didn’t find any humor in the offer. The rapper stated, “ This is a sleazy and ill-conceived publicity stunt by Taco Bell’s president, Greg Creed, who offer was leaked to the press before it was presented to 50 Cent. The rap artist did not accept the offer and thought they was crazy for doing that. I think 50 should have done it, because an Taco Bell endorsement could be worth a lot of mula. I also think the artist is not selling enough records, so he should sell some Taco Bell.

►Today I read on the newspaper that Price-sensitive motorists have long viewed independent service stations as relative havens in times when fuel costs are soaring. Lower gasoline prices are the key advantage that independents have in competing against stations affiliated with major oil companies like Chevron, Shell and ExxonMobil. But during the great price spike of 2008, pump prices have often been lower at branded dealers than at independent stations – sometimes by 25 cents a gallon or more. The reason is that independent station owners have been paying higher wholesale prices for gasoline than branded dealers – a situation known in industry parlance as a “rack inversion.” Independent dealers who count their profits at 10 or 11 cents per gallon say in recent weeks they confronted wholesale price increases of 15 or 20 cents per day – and there's nothing they can do about it.

The article I read today was about an 18-year-old woman suffered a shoulder wound Monday and a 17-year-old girl was injured by flying glass when their vehicle was fired upon in a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting in Emerald Hills, police said. The victims' vehicle was fired upon by someone in another vehicle at the intersection of Euclid and Geneva avenue shortly after 1 a.m. Both victims were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect vehicle is multi-colored and may be an older model Chevrolet El Camino, he said. The motive for the shooting was not immediately determined.
My opinion about this article is why would people shoot if they see that they see people that are around, and then what they see they are going to tell the police, because they know what happened to them so they are not just going to stay like that.
The story I read today was about a crash that killed the driver of a pickup truck yesterday. It all happened when a charter bus with 50 people on it had crashed right into the back of the pickup killing the driver. The driver of the charter bus said that he wasn’t paying attention to when he had crashed. Nobody on the bus was injured, the only person that was injured was the driver of the pickup.
The article I read today is about a man was found dead in his neighborhood of southeast San Diego police said. He was identified yesterday as Johnny Ray McClellan 58, the medical examiners office said. Officers responded to the home at 47th street and A street shortly before gunshots in the area someone reported hearing gunshots in the area. They found McClellan dead in the garage which had been converted into an apartment no arrest have been made and his death is unknown.
I think they need a new PHILOSOPHY.

Today in the union tribune, I read that Members of a Denver-based, pro-marijuana group announced their recommendation to solve the growing problem of alcohol abuse on planes: provide marijuana smoking lounges in airports nationwide. When U.S. Attorney Monday Troy Eid tackled the topic of people drinking too much on planes, pot wasn’t the solution he had in mind, but Mason Tvert with SAFER, Safer Alternative For Enjoyable Recreation, said maybe he should think about it. "In hopes of quelling the growing concern of drunk and disorderly passengers," said Tvert. He points to the woman arrested at Denver International Airport last week. Court records show she started smoking a cigarette on the plane, yelled obscenities and punched a flight attendant, then blamed the flight crew for serving her vodka. "This madness has got to stop and we're providing a very viable solution," said Tvert. He points to a study showing a strong link between alcohol and increased violence, while cannabis reduces the likelihood of violence. But officials said there is a major flaw in his plan. "Until such a time when marijuana is a legal drug, the answer is no. Plain and simple," said Mike Fergus, a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman.
today I read about in the union tribune about a guy named Israel that supposed be severing 20 years in prison for fraud of investors $450 million. He never showed but his car did show up at the bridge parked on the side and on the hood says suicide is pain full. Police and coast guard says that they are going to keep on looking even if it take 5 months. Most of the investor that he took money away wanted him to go to jail and get some of there money back but i guess there not going to because on the bridge there is a video camera and in that video it shows another car pulled up in back of Israel's car and then drove away. Driving this other car might be his accomplice. Everyone else believes that he's not dead that he just faked his death and might leave the country
Refection- I think this guy made a good attempt on trying to fake his death but he wont make it that far.

Food posing is getting out of hand they have too many cases of kids getting sick at school eating cafteria food. I think that it because alot of products have had tomatoes processed in it this icidient was happening last week. They NEGATEDthe facts to the kids that tomatoes had bacteria in it. THey COnved that the school could have got sued 3,00000 dollars if tey did not have took full resposbility of this inccident. THe still should have sued because they could have been realy dangerous someone could have died. The people stated that it was the meat ut the fda came in stated that it was tomatoes in the food that was served that mad them sick. The should have took the news advice instead of serving salad they should servved salsa. The PHILOSPHY is that they need to get rid of all the tomatoes.
