The article I just read Bush renewed his demand that Congress allow drilling in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, or ANWR, clear the way for more refineries and encourage efforts to recover oil from shale in areas such as the Green River Basin of Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.
Bush said that the basin potentially contains more than three times as much recoverable oil as Saudi Arabia's proven reserves, and that the high price of oil makes it profitable to extract it.
"In the short run, the American economy will continue to rely largely on oil, and that means we need to increase supply here at home," said Bush, adding there is no more pressing issue than gas prices for many Americans.
Today in the union tribune, I read that how their going to start putting oil things on the shore of the united states. Senator John McCain is trying to get this law passed along with George Bush. Their trying to do it to Alaska too because they think there could be some oil out there some where. The White House estimates there are 18 billion barrels of oil offshore that have not been CONVENED because of state bans, 10 billion to 12 billion in the Alaska National Wildlife Reserve, and 800 billion barrels of recoverable oil in the Green River Basin.
I think that they should NEGATE this because if there is an oil spill what would happen to all the life in the beach that we live by. My PHILOSOPHY is that if they do this the beach is going to turn into a wasteland and no one is going to want to go in there again.
Today in the news paper I read about the oil. Bush also renewed his demand that Congress allow drilling in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, or ANWR, clear the way for more refineries and encourage efforts to recover oil from shale in areas such as the Green River Basin of Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. The White House estimates there are 18 billion barrels of oil offshore that have not been exploited because of state bans, 10 billion to 12 billion in the Alaska National Wildlife Reserve, and 800 billion barrels of recoverable oil in the Green River Basin. I also read about the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics. The Celtics defeated the Lakers last night and became the NBA Champions. Paul Pierce was name the MVP of the game and congratulations to my number one Celtics.
“Just married”
►Today I read on the newspaper that For years, Peter Storniolo told himself it was just a piece of paper. It didn't mean anything, and just CONVENE families. That changed yesterday morning after he exchanged marriage vows and shared a long embrace with his partner of 19 years, high school teacher Paul Esch, in front of about 30 friends and family members. Also that Scenes of gay couples exchanging vows, rings and kisses across the state marked a watershed moment in the battle for gay equality that many compared to a 1948 state ruling that lifted the ban on interracial marriage. It also stood as a defining time for opponents of same-sex marriage, who used the day to marshal support for a November ballot measure that would amend the state constitution to limit marriage to a man and a woman. That change the story of the NEGATION of many peoples, also the PHILOSOPHY of marring a person only with the opposite sex.
►I agree because that is their lives.
►I also agree because I think we shouldn’t intervene on others peoples lives.
►In the other hand I think the just should let the thing the way they were.
►I think the most interesting fact is that they already marring people.
The article I read today was about President Bush asked Congress Wednesday convened to permit drilling for oil in deep water off America's coasts to combat rising oil and gas prices. As for gas prices, resuming offshore exploration would not be a quick fix.
M y opinion about this article is that’s kind of good but what about the philosophy gas prices how much will it got down or up to…
If any thing happens I hope they negate it.
I don’t think it would be a good idea to see the oil drilling from the beach.
One interesting fact is I hope gas price goes down and find a resolution.
Today I read on cnn.com about Water spilled over a levee on the Mississippi River on Wednesday, surging into farmland in west-central Illinois. The floodwaters will cover thousands of acres of farmland from Warsaw to Quincy about a 25-mile stretch of the river. There's a lot of wheat fields down here just about ready to be harvested, and they're going to lose all that," Jefferson told CNN. "The corn crop, the bean crop that's up is all going to be lost. And the real work's going to come after the flood recedes. It'll take years to get this ground back into shape. All residents in the area had been evacuated. I also read that President Bush asked Congress Wednesday to permit drilling for oil in deep water off America's coasts to combat rising oil and gas prices. Bush said that the basin potentially contains more than three times as much recoverable oil as Saudi Arabia's proven reserves, and that the high price of oil makes it profitable to extract it. The White House had a Convene and estimates there are 18 billion barrels of oil offshore that have not been exploited because of state bans, 10 billion to 12 billion in the Alaska National Wildlife Reserve, and 800 billion barrels of recoverable oil in the Green River Basin.
Reflection- I think its terrible how city's are getting destroyed because of human nature and how the president is going to kill human nature where ever he's going to put the oil driller. I think we should negate president bushes actions. he is also going to take a away biology in Alaska..
Interesting fact- The floodwaters will cover thousands of acres of farmland from Warsaw to Quincy about a 25-mile stretch of the river. The White House estimates there are 18 billion barrels of oil offshore that have not been exploited because of state bans, 10 billion to 12 billion in the Alaska National Wildlife Reserve, and 800 billion barrels of recoverable oil in the Green River Basin.
Today I saw a video on cnn that over in Mexico the police found a tunnel were the drug cartels were trafficking there drugs to the US. The police convene because they need to work as a team. Because some of the people negate about the tunnels. But if the drug cartels think that’s there philosophy then I think that the drug cartels aren't gone stop. Even doe that the shot caller is in prison doing life.
