“Homeowners find loan aid is limited”
►Lenders and loan-servicing companies say foreclosing on distressed homeowners is the last thing they want to do. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has urged them to modify loan terms instead of going through the costly process of evicting homeowners and reselling their dwellings. He said writing down some debt now would be cheaper for lenders and investors in mortgage-backed securities than the alternative. Maria Fuentes and her husband are in the process of selling their house in Chula Vista for less than the amount owed in a short-sale agreement. And Congress is considering a measure that would give lenders further incentive to modify loans by insuring up to $300 billion in loans for at-risk borrowers if lenders agree to lower the balances. Yet despite months of encouragement to help out distressed homeowners, consumer groups say the mortgage industry isn't doing nearly enough to stem the rising tide of defaults and evictions.
►I don’t agree because in my PHILOSOPHY they are not helping people.
►I also don’t agree because they should be helping them.
►In the other hand they maybe CONVENED to do this.
►I thing the most interesting fact is that they NEGATED to expand the help.

The article I read today is about violence that battered Tijuana returned this weekend when seven people were killed over a 36-hour period, pushing the number of homicides to 232 for the year. And three bodies were found near rosarito beach bringing the number people killed over the weekend to 10. the victims were a Tijuana police officer, two women and the three men found on the outskirts of rosarito beach at least show the signs whom showed they been burned. 21 homicides occurred in Tijuana the record setting pace returned in June. With nearly three weeks left in the month there have already been 15 slayings. Last year 334 homicides were recorded in Tijuana city.
I think they need a new ASPECT because too many people are dying.
They need new FEAUTURE of security.
The state should have more CONSEQUENCES to committing a murder.

The article I read today was about homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff says U.S. officials were shocked that a Mexican judge had freed a man imprisoned in connection with the death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent. Jesus Navarro Montes was arrested January 22nd in northern Mexico in the killing of Agent Luis Aguilar and had also been held over for trial there on migrant smuggling charges. The circumstances of his recent release from a Mexicali prison couldn't be determined Wednesday. Chertoff said in a statement, "We are convened with a determined Mexican government, and our Department of Justice, to seek swift justice for the Aguilar murder." The attorney general's office in Baja California, Mexico, confirmed that Navarro had been released but couldn't provide any details of his case.
My opinion about this article is immigrants want to cross the border and I think that he just wanted to take it out on him and philosophy.
I just cant believe that they let him out so easily.
My opinion is I think that the judge had something to do with the man but he wont negate it.
One interesting fact is you should get your papers fixed before trying to commit something serious.

The story I read today was about a police officer that shot a dog and killed it. The dog was fighting with another dog and the police and animal control tried to subdue it with shovels but they couldn’t. Then they pepper sprayed the dog in the eyes but it didn’t do nothing. Then the dog started circling the police officer and then the dog charged toward the officer and he shot the dog twice killing it, the other dog he was fighting with is expected to survive.

Today in the union tribune, I read that a Coronado police officer shot Steve Foley because the officer thought he had a gun. It all started when Aaron Mansker who was off duty spotted Foley near downtown and followed him because he suspected Foley was drunk driving because the former football player was swerving. Mansker called for backup but there was no cops in the area. As the chase went on Mansker followed Foley all the way to his Poway home. As Foley exited the police officer pulled his gun out and ordered Foley to put his hands on his head but Foley misunderstood what the cop was getting at. As Foley walked near the cop he reached for his waistband as if he were grabbing his weapon. Mansker fired a warning shot then Foley tried to run and Mansker fired a shot to the back of his leg as the bullet went through left knee cap ending his career as a pro football player. Now Foley is suing the Island of Coronado along with its police officer Aaron Mansker.

In the news paper today I was reading about the high gas prices and how citizens trying to get cheaper prices by riding motor scooters. Motorsport Scooter in North Park, owner Alex Cohn said he has sold out his entire inventory of imported Taiwanese motor scooters – and 50 customers have put their names on a waiting list that requires a $500 deposit. The humble motor scooter, a basic mode of cheap transportation in Europe and Asia, is suddenly posing a challenge to America’s longtime love affair with sport utility vehicles and other gas-guzzlers. I think that it’s a great way to save money for gas. On the scooter it was said that you could get 80 miles per gallons and I think that’s better than in a car for $4 a gallon. Gas is too high and I think I would ride on a scooter.

Today I read about a shooting where six die in Kentucky factory rampage. After Wesley Higdon was arguing with his supervisor over using his cell phone and not wearing safety glasses then Higdon called his girlfriend and gave her a dire prediction he was going to kill his boss. Two hours later Higdon shot Kevin G Taylor outside the building then he went into a break room and started shooting at co-workers and at the floor. After the rampage one of Higdon’s co-workers was dead and four other were dying and he committed suicide the rest of Higdon’s co-workers later died. My opinion- I think that this was a sad article and I think that was scandalous that he killed himself after killing all of the other people.

Today I read about scooters are being sold everywhere since the gas prices are so high. At Motor Sport Scooter in north park owner Alex Cohn said he has sold out his entries inventory of imported Taiwanese motor scooters. 50 costumers have put their names on a waiting list that requires a $500 deposit. This is the first time in out history where we have ever been completely sold out of our bikes said Cohn who has been selling scooters in San Diego for 16 years. One of these scooters run about 80 miles to the gallon I think that’s pretty good compared to 15 – 23 miles to the gallon.
Reflection- I think its good if people are buy scooters its better for the sellers because there getting costumers and also its better for the economy.
Interesting fact- 50 costumers have put their names on a waiting list that requires a $500 deposit.

Today I read a article about a man named Jesus Navarro Montes who was in jail in Mexicali on suspicion of running down a border patrol agent. The philosophy was that he was released without charges. The border patrol agents negated that he was driving a hummer carrying drugs and he kept going and crossed into Mexico even doe border patrol convene to stop him.

The article I read today is about “democratic campaigns delicately talk unity” with the help of one of Washington’s best connected lawyers, sense barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton are negotiating a thicket of complicated issues, such as how to repay Clinton's campaign debt and her role at the democratic national convention in august.

Cocoa

With all the new advances in technology it’s not much of a surprise that all this new discoveries are being made of things once thought to be unexplainable. Science is breaking down everything to it’s last particle and figuring out what makes up what. The results are fascinating, this new information is what us know what we’re made of and how to take better care of ourselves. It’s hard to NEGATE the fact that this new branches of technology and discovery are making up for old PHILOSOPHY and finally giving us a real answer and not speculations. That is why scientists have CONVENED forces with technology companies to make better researches and find the best answers. Now that the human genome has been figured out, scientists want to figure out the genome for cocoa, this would help us understand it better but at the same time it would benefit the farming industry in many ways. This is very interesting, to see science trying to better the life of farmers worldwide.
