Today in the news I was reading about this one guy that got caught up for a rape charge. James Maurice Robinson, 25, a confessed sex offender, had been on the run for more than two years, and it looked as if he would elude capture yet again. Robinson pleaded guilty to one count of child molestation on May 26, 2005, according to the Walker County District Attorney's Office. But he skipped town and never made his sentencing hearing on February 14, 2006, authorities said. A warrant was then issued for his arrest. Robinson now faces five to 20 years in prison, the DA's office said. "Anytime we can get a pervert off the street like that, it's going to make me happy," said Robert Tate, a detective with the LaFayette Police Department in northwest Georgia, near the Tennessee border. Robinson had been accused of exposing himself to a 10-year-old boy in a Wal-Mart bathroom and masturbating in front of him. Police records indicate the boy was so petrified he was afraid to leave the stall for 15 minutes afterward. I think they should never let him out of jail because what he did was wrong.

Arnold Schwarzenegger yesterday lauded the world's biotechnology industry for tackling a pile of complicated issues – therapies for disease, diagnostics to improve health care and alternative fuels that may one day create “a carbon-free world.” Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger addressed the BIO International Convention yesterday in San Diego. “This room is sizzling with brain power and creativity,” he told a crowd of about 20,000 biotech executives yesterday at the San Diego Convention Center. “I will walk out with a 10 percent increase in my IQ just for being here.” Addressing the annual BIO International Convention, the Republican governor took the opportunity to brag about California's dominance as the national and world leader in biotechnology. Its 3,000 life-science companies generate about $73 billion in revenue annually – “and that's without counting the sales of botox to Joan Rivers,” he said.

Today I read about a teen girl who was robbed across the street in front of a La Mesa police department. Tuesday a 17 year old girl was robbed while waiting for the bus across the street from the La Mesa police department. The robber pushed the girl to the ground and demanded cash and then went threw her pockets until he found her wallet. The robber had no weapon. The robber was a black male around the age of 35 he was about 6’3 210 pounds.
My opinion- I think that if the girl got robbed right in front of the police station they must have not been watching or paying any attention to what's going on.
Interesting facts- The robber had musical notes tattooed on his neck.
Tuesday's death of 16-year-old Neil Beagley, however, may not be a crime because Oregon law allows minors 14 and older to decide for themselves whether to accept medical treatment."All of the interviews from last night are that he did in fact refuse treatment," police Sgt. Lynne Benton said Wednesday. "Unless we can disprove that, charges probably won't be filed in this case."An autopsy Wednesday showed Beagley died of heart failure caused by a urinary tract blockage.He likely had a congenital condition that constricted his urinary tract where the bladder empties into the urethra, and the condition of his organs indicates he had multiple blockages during his life, said Dr. Clifford Nelson, deputy state medical examiner for Clackamas County."You just build up so much urea in your bloodstream that it begins to poison your organs, and the heart is particularly susceptible," Nelson said.Nelson said a catheter would have saved the boy's life. If the condition had been dealt with earlier, a urologist could easily have removed the blockage and avoided the kidney damage that came with the repeated illnesses, Nelson said.Benton said a board member of the Followers of Christ church contacted the authorities after Beagley died at his family's home. The teen had been sick about a week, and church members and his family had gathered to pray Sunday when his condition worsened, Benton said.In March, the boy's 15-month-old cousin Ava Worthington died at home from bronchial pneumonia and a blood infection.

Article: The article I read today was about some sort of dispute at a Linda Vista home escalated Wednesday into a stabbing attack that left two men injured and a third under arrest. The assaults in the 6400 block of Quillan Street were reported shortly before 2 p.m., according to San Diego police. Medics took one of the victims to a hospital, where he underwent surgery for a life-threatening stab wound to his neck, SDPD Sgt. Kerry Tom said. The other injured man was treated for less serious trauma, Tom said. Officers arrested a man at the home on suspicion of carrying out the assaults. The suspect, whose name was not immediately available, refused to answer questions, the sergeant said. The victims, for their part, were "unable to give a statement as to what caused this altercation," according to Tom.
My opinion about this article is I wonder what they had gotten in a fight for.
If your going to stab somebody, at least do it for a good reason.
And if the other guy didn’t want to answer any questions than he was hiding something.
One interesting fact was always throw the weapon away.
Today in the union tribune, I read that Investigators are pursuing a variety of theories in their quest to unravel the mystery of six human feet that have washed up on the shores of the Canadian province of British Columbia in the last 11 months. The sixth foot turned up Wednesday a right foot in a man's size 10 black Adidas athletic shoe, police said. As in the previous cases, however, immediate answers as to the foot's origin eluded detectives. It is too early to say how the foot found Wednesday was separated from a body, and police did not address the question of how the fifth foot came to be detached. The coroner's office plans to examine DNA from the foot found Wednesday to try to identify the person to whom it belonged, she said. The authorities also are combing through missing persons reports and trying to determine when and where the shoe was manufactured and sold. The sixth foot was found by a woman walking on the beach, said Sgt. Mike Tresoor of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in the town of Campbell River on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
The article I read today is about a man who had cocaine on his fingers he let his infant kid suck his finger while there was some rezone on his finger. Dennis Ray Driver, 26, was convicted Wednesday of felony murder for the overdose death of his 8-month-old son, Dennis Jr. The jury also fined Driver $10,000 he fell asleep at his apartment on Dec. 28 with his son lying on his chest. When he awoke, the baby wasn't breathing. The infant died the next day at a hospital. Newman said Driver had at least eight previous convictions, including six that were related to cocaine. The Houston Chronicle reported Wednesday in its online edition that when the baby died, Driver was free on bail on a cocaine possession charge.
I think they should order him to die

today I read about on cnn.com about a guy named Israel that supposed be severing 20 years in prison for fraud of investors $450 million. He never showed but his car did show up at the bridge parked on the side and on the hood says suicide is pain full. Police and coast guard says that they are going to keep on looking even if it take 5 months. Most of the investor that he took money away wanted him to go to jail and get some of there money back but i guess there not going to because on the bridge there is a video camera and in that video it shows another car pulled up in back of Israel's car and then drove away. Driving this other car might be his accomplice. Everyone else believes that he's not dead that he just faked his death and might leave the country.
Refection- I think this guy made a good attempt on trying to fake his death but he wont make it that far.

Today the article I read was about how the gay brain looks like and how it thinks towards other things. Scientists at the Karolinska INSATITUTE studied brain scans of 90 gay and straight men and women, and found that the size of the two symmetrical halves of the brains of gay men more closely resembled those of straight women than they did straight men. In heterosexual women, the two halves of the brain are more or less the same size. In heterosexual men, the right hemisphere is slightly larger. Scans of the brains of gay men in the study, however, showed that their hemispheres were relatively symmetrical, like those of straight women, while the brains of homosexual women were asymmetrical like those of straight men. The number of nerves connecting the two sides of the brains of gay men were also more like the number in heterosexual women than in straight men. I think that is cool how the brain works.
Today I read a article about a 28 year old girl by the name of Sara champions. Project engineer for one of the countries top construction companies but the professional staff were against the tattoo policy because it makes the job look bad. Sara didn’t like that idea so she went looking for a another job and she convene with a worker and she found a job in inspecting that mostly every worker there had at least one tattoo for them it was a philosophy for them. Sara thought that a job like that one never negated.
One recent discovery has shown the administrators at Gloucester High School in a Massachusetts fishing town that the teen pregnancy rate at that school is becoming very high. At first they blamed how movies like JUNO and KNOCKED UP glorify unwed and young mothers. Yet as more and more teenage girls kept showing up at the nurse’s office for pregnancy tests and most of them ending up to being positive made nurse Ms. Kim Daly worry. She started questioning the reason for all the pregnancies and she and the clinic’s medical director, Dr. Brian Orr, CONVENED in order to find a solution and a cause for all the pregnancies. It almost seemed that these girls wanted to get pregnant and were disappointed if they found out that they were not. Administrators did not NEGATE themselves to the fact that there was possibility that the teens were getting pregnant on purpose. As the teens kept being questioned they confessed that they were getting pregnant because they had made a pact with each other promising to help each other to raise the children. Their PHILOSOPHY was that they wanted to have someone who would give them unconditional love.
