“Court lets order stand on same-sex marriages”
►Today I read on the newspaper that Gay and lesbian couples across California yesterday began planning their nuptials after the state's highest court refused to stay its decision legalizing same-sex marriage. The state Supreme Court's announcement cleared the final hurdle for same-sex couples to wed beginning June 17, when state officials have said counties must start issuing new gender-neutral marriage licenses. Conservative SIMILAR religious and legal groups had asked the court to stop its May 15 order requiring state and local officials to sanction same-sex unions from becoming effective until voters have the chance to consider the issue in November. An initiative to ban same-sex marriage has qualified for the SECTION of Nov. 4 ballot. Its passage would overrule the court's decision by amending the state constitution to limit marriage to a man and a woman.
►I agree because it’s their lives.
►I also agree because we can’t deny anything to them.
►In the other hand I don’t agree because in the THEORY of the bible says that only a man can marry to a woman or a woman to a man.
►I think the most interesting fact is that they are doing all this things only for marriage on the same sex.

The article I read today said San Diego police searched Thursday for a gunman who robbed a University Heights credit union while chatting on a cell phone. The man walked into a California Coast Credit Union branch office in the 4400 block of Park Boulevard around 5 p.m. Wednesday and demanded that a manager take him to teller stations and a vault. The manager complied and the man, who carried a large dark-colored handgun, took money and placed it in a bag that he'd brought with him. During the robbery, the man talked with someone using a Bluetooth device. There was no description of the thief, who wore a mask over his face and fled southbound on foot with an undisclosed sum of money.
My opinion about this article is if your going to rob the place go in their and do your thing but instead he’s just walking in their trying to rob the bank and talking on his cell phone just get out.
I think the bank should have like a metal detector or something when you step foot in the bank because their has been a lot of robberies, especially banks.

. The article I read today was about a gunmen was assassinated Mexico national police chief yesterday blasting him with nine bullets outside his home. Mexico drugs and violence problem engulfs the entire country swamping cities along the U.S Mexico border and rugged drug cartel. The chief ordered federal police to take over crime fighting responsibilities from local police suspects of aiding drug traffickers.
I think they need more law enforcement.
They need a new president and someone to make new decisions.
My opinion is they should hire more us guards that they can trust

Today I read about in the new paper that Mohammed told the judge, Marine Col. Ralph Kohlmann that he wishes to represent himself. Kohlmann asked Mohammed numerous times if he understood that he faces the death penalty and Mohammed at one point said That is what I wish. I wish to be martyred. He told the judge he could not accept any attorney because he only believes in Sharia, or Islamic law. Mohammed and his four co-defendants all suspected al Qaeda figures, are being arraigned on numerous charges for their alleged roles in the September 11, 2001, terror attacks on New York and Washington which killed nearly 3,000 people. It is the first time that reporters have been able to see the accused al Qaeda operatives who were all in the same room for the first time since their arrests in 2002 and 2003.The defendants were seated at separate tables. None stood when Kohlmann entered. They spoke freely among themselves throughout the proceeding, and Mohammed appeared to be instructing the others. Ramzi bin al-Shibh who is accused of helping coordinate the attacks was the only defendant in leg shackles. He entered the courtroom with a defiant swagger laughing at media members who were straining to get a look at him.
I think that its bad what they are doing because if there not sure that it was him that they shouldn’t judge him until they prove it was him.

In the news paper today, I read about the death of rock pioneer Bo Diddley. A founding father of rock ’n’ roll, an unsung pioneer of rap and one of the most influential musicians of the past 50 years, died Wednesday morning due to heart failure at his Florida home. He was 79 years old and over the last past 13 months had suffered a stroke and a heart attack that prevented him to perform. Bo was born Ellas Otha Bates on December 30, 1928, in McComb, Mississippi. Diddley was a 1987 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and a 1998 Grammy Award Hall of Fame honoree. With his impact on music Bo was inspired me to be a great rap artist. He is gone, but never would be forgotten.

Today in the union tribune I read about the Mexico and Argentina game. It was the biggest soccer game seen at QUALCOMM stadium. Even though it was kind of drizzling and low temperatures didn’t stop Mexico's fans tailgating. People were have little soccer matches in the parking lot and eating carne asada and hanging out with friends and co workers. The transit system was packed with Mexico fans ready to see a good game and to be at the biggest match at QUALCOMM there has ever been. In the end It was sad that the team every one wanted to see win, lost but every one still held there pride for there team and still stood the Mexican flag. The final score was 4-1 Argentina took the win.
Refection- what sucked is that I could have gone to the game because my sister and my grand father were looking for me to go because they both had an extra ticket.
Interesting fact- It was the biggest soccer game seen at QUALCOMM stadium

Today in the union tribune, I read that Alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed told a military court judge Thursday that he wishes to plead guilty to charges in connection with his role in the attack and become a martyr. Mohammed told the judge, Marine Col. Ralph Kohlmann, that he wishes to represent himself. Kohlmann asked Mohammed numerous times if he understood that he faces the death penalty, and Mohammed at one point said, "That is what I wish. I wish to be martyred. Today in the union tribune I read an article about the accused 9/11 plotters to be arraigned in Cuba. The men are facing a military tribunal today. Khalid sheikh mohamed the confessed mastermind of the sept 11 attacks will be arranged simultaneously with four other detainees inside a high security courthouse at the remote U.S. Navy base in Guantanamo bay, Cuba.
I think it has been to long there just varly going to court they should have been died by now.

I don’t understand why they are going through so much this should have been legal along time ago.

Today I read in a article that yesterday there was a game over at Qualcomm stadium. But this wasn’t a chargers game or a padres game. This was a game of soccer of the number 1 rank team called Argentina verses México. All do the theory was that even do Mexico lost that game. Mexico had a lot of fans and they still celebrated and were not angry at there loss. This game was a little similar to charger games because the fans showed the same support for there team even do they win or lose they still have a lot of love for there team. Mexico fans after the game had car horns as friends hung out the window holding their countries flag.
