Today in the union tribune, I read that Oil prices jumped higher Friday - the expiration day for the July futures contract - amid a series of reports about geopolitical events that could affect supply and demand. Traders reacted to news that Israel had conducted a military exercise over the eastern Mediterranean Sea. They also mulled the possible consequences of China's decision a day earlier to relax fuel subsidies. Light, sweet crude for July delivery was up $3.67 to $135.60 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange after plummeting nearly $5 a barrel during the previous session. The New York Times reported that Israel carried out a "major military exercise" earlier this month that American officials say appeared to be in preparation for a potential bombing attack of Iran's nuclear facilities. Investors worry that military conflict with Iran could disrupt shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, a major transportation corridor for oil exporters in the Persian Gulf off the coast of Iran, and further restrict supply in the global oil market.

►Six people from a downtown San Diego real estate firm are among more than 400 real estate insiders who have been swept up in a massive, nationwide crackdown on mortgage fraud. Called “Operation Malicious Mortgage,” the probe announced yesterday has netted more than 400 indictments since March, including dozens over the past two days. It has been led by the Justice Department and the FBI, which put the losses to lenders and other victims in the schemes at more than $1 billion across the country. “Mortgage fraud poses a significant threat to our economy, to the stability of our nation's housing markets and to the peace of mind of millions of American homeowners,” Deputy Attorney General Mark Filip said at an afternoon news conference yesterday in Washington.

Federal marshals arrested the girlfriend of a hedge fund manager who disappeared on the day he was to start a 20-year prison sentence for defrauding investors, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. Authorities say Debra Ryan, 45, admitted to helping Sam Israel III pack an RV with his belongings and a motor scooter prior to his June 9 disappearance. Ryan, who lived with Israel in Armonk, New York, is charged with aiding and abetting Israel in his failure to report to a Massachusetts prison. Ryan was released on $75,000 bond. She faces up to 10 years in prison.
I think she should get longer.

In the newspaper today, I read about the New York Yankees and the San Diego Padres baseball game. In New York, the Yankees completed a three-game sweep of the Padres, who surrendered both New York runs as an indirect result of stolen bases. The Yankees won the game 2 to 1 run last night. For the second straight game, the Yankees stole four bases on the Padres. The Padres had struck out 15 times. I personally don’t like baseball but I think the Padres should be a better team. They have great players and I see a lot of hard work and dedication, but no progress.
Today I read an article about a mother who was held on suspicion of poisoning her young son. A Warner Springs woman was jailed yesterday on suspicion of poising her 22month old son with a caustic chemical. The child was hospitalized twice back in may in critical condition. The mother was arrested in Vista and was booked into the Vista jail on two counts of attempted murder, two counts of felony child abuse, and one count of poising.
Interesting facts- An ambulance took the child to children's Rady hospital on May 25 with caustic chemical burns to the face and mouth.
My opinion- I think that she should do some time for trying to kill her baby and poison him.

Today I read a article in the news paper about a 38 year old man that was shot yesterday in National city. The victim had just left Las Palmas park when he herd some gun shots and felt that he got shot in the leg. Now the man is gone have to live with that philosophy for the rest of his life. The police officer negated if it was a gang related issue but they don’t have the shooter. But the police is convening on who did it.
Today I read in the union tribune about the new air line company Zoom made by Huge Boyle and John Boyle Convened to make Zoom. its a new air line company from San Diego to London. Straight flight cost u around $800. San Diego is now going to have tourist from London and some of Europe and London is also going to have tourist from San Diego and nearby states. San Diego has not had a non stop flights to Europe since 2003 and now there bring it back. they are also trying to negate to high prices for the flight.
Reflection- I think this is a good idea and more tourists are going to come visit San Diego and that’s also more money for us.

Thee article I read was about a 29 year old woman who stab her husband in the back when he walked into his house. And after the attack the man ran outside with a large in his back. A neighbor who is a nurse was the one who called the police around 12:00 at night. the police is still convening about this story if its true or negate because its just the philosophy of the wife.
