Today in the morning blog I read that a marine who was wanted for COMPENSATING the slaying and raping a pregnant woman was arrested in Mexico after a three months manhunt. FBI and Mexican authorities INTERACTED and arrested Cpl. Cesar Laurean last night. He is going to be charged with the murder of marine lance Cpl. Maria Lauhterbach, whose buried remains were found in the backyard of his home near camp Lejeune.
I think that the marine guy who killed that woman should go to prison and get beat because that’s what he deserves.
One interesting fact was that the only reason he got caught in Mexico was because his INITIAL was he couldn't speak Spanish.

President Bush announced yesterday that when he spoke with the senior U.S commander in Iraq he gave the commander as much time as he needs before withdrawing any U.S troops from Iraq. Although troop levels in Iraq will be static in August President Bush stated that troops returning from their 15-month tours will get longer breaks. Also Bush reduced the length of tours from 15 months to 12 months. President Bush defended the costs of war, declaring that his decision to order more troops to Iraq last year had averted potential defeat there. Bush also said that withdrawing from Iraq would bring catastrophic consequences to U.S interests. Bush signaled that he was freezing troop levels in Iraq to 140,000 in August and would be leaving any changes in policy to the next president. Bush said his decision to accept Army General David Petraeus’ plan to stop withdrawals came as the extra combat brigade troops sent last year would be leaving this July. These decisions made by the president have drawn a lot of criticism. Law makers said they have given up the hope of scaling troop numbers back to 100,000 and also say they expect the war to last as long as seven more years.
Reflection: I think it is a good thing that the length troops will have to be doing while on tours in Iraq has been reduced from 15 months to 12 months.
Reflection: Although the presidents decision to reduce the length troops will be doing is good I think his decision to stop the withdrawal of troops from Iraq was poorly made.
My Opinion: Although I am strongly against President Bush’s decisions to stop the withdrawal of troops in Iraq, he is right that the withdrawal of our troops from Iraq would signal a “defeat” and would bring with it severe catastrophic consequences to U.S intersts.

Man killed four others injured in rollover crash

Today I read about a rollover crash in Poway. One young man was killed and the 18 year old driver was critically injured in a roll over crash on Valle Verde road early yesterday that authorities say was alcohol related. Three other teenagers were also injured. Richard Caldwell the driver had lost control of the car on a curve past winter way about 2:30 am. The car had rolled several times and ended up on its roof. Four of them were not wearing seat belts.
Charles Elias Amaro of Rancho Bernardo who turned 20 yesterday was killed and the others injured.
Interesting Facts- It appeared that alcohol and speed were a factor in this crash.
My Opinion- I think the article was sad and yes that is what happens when you drink and drive sometimes.

The article I read today was about how lenders are taking a pass on helping college students pay for there education. Forty-six student-loan providers have stopped making the federally guaranteed loans, either temporarily or permanently. Several states have suspended their college-loan programs. Companies including Washington Mutual, Sovereign Bancorp, College Loan Corp., CIT Group, North Star Education Finance, HSBC Bank and Zion's Bancorp have stopped issuing federally guaranteed student loans in recent weeks.
Reflection: I think these is a bad idea were are all the student going to get loans to go to college some people cant afford it and now there stopping student loans how are they going to go to college.

$$$$$ ARE YOU THE WINNER? $$$$$
In Fridays news paper I read about a lottery winner in San Diego. The lottery winning ticket was sold In Mira mesa. The Market it was sold by was The Mira Mesa Sea Food City. The person with the ticket has not came up to claim the money. The ticket is worth $31 million dollars. The person has 180 days to claim the money. Lottery says that a $28.5 million dollar ticket was once not clamed. The most single ticket prize ever given away was $57 million dollar in California.

$=All I can say is Holly Molly That’s a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$.

$=If he won the lottery he must be lucky because the odds is 41,416,353 to =1=.

$=The man or female that has the winning ticket is probably in shock I would.

$=The store that sold the winning ticket will receive $155,000 dollars for selling it.

This morning I read about a marine was arrested for slaying a pregnant colleague. The marine , who was accused of rape, was finally arrested after a 3 month international manhunt. FBI agents and Mexican authorities arrest Cpl. Ceaser Laurean last night. He is being charged with the murder of Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach, who’s burned remains were found in his backyard in January . The Mexican Officials arrest Ceaser because he looked suspicious walking down the street of a rural town and they found out he didn’t speak Spanish.
I think that its good that they finally got him. He should of never been walking around if he knew he was a wanted man. I also believe it would been easier on him if he would of turned himself in.

♥ The article I read about this morning was about the jackpot. Somebody in the area of Mira Mesa won the lottery. The only problem about that is that no one is claiming the jackpot. It appears that someone went to the liquor store located in Mira mesa. This person could be on their way to a dealer or to go buy a new house. The person who hits the jackpot has up to 180 days to come forward and claim their $31 million. The largest ticket in Alameda County that was never claimed was for $28.5 million. The winner numbers were 5,17, 23, 42, 43 with 19 as the mega big.
♥ I think that the person who won these $31 million needs to step up. I hope that me or someone in my family will be lucky someday and they hit the jackpot. If I won that much money I would first of all buy my mom a house and a very nice car.
♥ An interesting fact that I read in the article was that the odds of winning the lottery are one in 41,416,353.
