Today in the union tribune, I read that Two brothers who ran a funeral home and crematorium IMPLIED Tuesday that they sold corpses to a company that trafficked stolen body parts, a macabre scheme that left families aghast and unclear about the fate of their loved ones. Louis and Gerald Garzone pleaded guilty to charges including conspiracy, theft, abuse of corpse and welfare fraud. The gruesome allegations read in court drew gasps, murmurs and tears from about two dozen people who had EXCLUDE the bodies of their loved ones to the Garzones' facilities in Philadelphia. The brothers allowed at least 244 corpses to be carved up without families' permission and without medical tests, prosecutors said. Skin, bones, tendons and other parts some of them diseased were then sold around the country for dental implants, COMPONENT knee and hip replacements, and other procedures. Some bodies were only torsos by the time the hacking was done. The mastermind of the scheme, Michael Mastromarino, pleaded guilty Friday to hundreds of charges that could send him to prison for life. He is already serving 18 to 54 years for running the scam in New York.
I think that this is scary because this is the kind of thing that would occur in a movie.

In today's article I read that the man imply for slaying a woman and wounding her male companion while they sat in a parked car at a Pala junkyard was in custody Monday, a San Diego County sheriff's lieutenant said. Frank Lewis, 39, is accused in Friday's shooting that killed Elizabeth Jane Culbertson, a 35-year-old Poway resident, and wounded 44-year-old Fredrick Bostick. Lt. Dennis Burgos said Lewis was arrested by members of the San Diego County Fugitive Task Force in the town of Anza about 9:25 p.m. Sunday. He was excluded into the Vista Detention Facility and is being held without bail, the lieutenant said. Investigators said Lewis is a parolee with a trail of past residences in North and East County, but no known current address. The North County Times reported that Culbertson was dead by the time the wounded Bostick drove her to the Pala fire station. Burgos said Lewis used his vehicle to block the one in which Culbertson and Bostick sat in Gonzalez' Junk Yard on Lilac Extension Road at about 11 a.m., then got out and opened fire. I think that the components of this article are the same ones as the reason of him committing this crime.

The article I read this morning was about a tunnel that was discovered. They say that the tunnel was implied for smuggling drugs, people, and even weapons. It was discovered in Mexicali, Baja California. The entrance was a 434 foot long passageway. The components entrance leads from a house that is right near the U.S.-Mexico border fence. It ends about 130 feet in to the United States territory. Some members of the Baja California State Preventive police were led to the house where the tunnel starts because they detected some suspicious activity. There was 8 people arrested.
I think that it is a good thing that the Mexican authorities are actually doing there job because a lot of them before were the ones actually doing the crimes. And about how they found out the house was in some sort of activity because there was a man standing outside guarding with a gun in his hand supposively I believe to exclude from anyone entering the house. I believe though that this was the 75th tunnel found along the U.S. border since the 1990’s.
An interesting fact that I read in the article and caught my attention was that the suspects told agents that the tunnel was designed to reach a residence in Calexico.

Today I read about 8 men arrested after a tunnel discovered near border. The tunnel that was excluded had a elevator they also implied lighting and ventilation. The entrance to the 434 foot passageway was discovered Monday afternoon about a half mile east on the Calexico border crossing.
Reflection- I think we have a good team protecting the united states if they can find tunnel I think they can do anything
